Why the credit book will stay free
This is not a launch promotion. It is a decision, and here is the reasoning behind it.
Keeping your book in Kayad Liya costs nothing, and will keep costing nothing. This is not an introductory offer that closes in six months.
The reasoning
A free credit book already exists in Morocco. Charging for the same thing would mean asking someone to pay in order to know what they are owed — and to switch apps for the privilege. Nobody would, and nobody should have to.
So what will be paid for
Whatever saves time or money, not whatever lets you count:
- scheduled reminders that run without being thought about;
- several shops under one account;
- reports, for when you want to look a month in the face.
Prices will vary by region. A grocer in Casablanca and a grocer in a village do not have the same turnover, and a single price reads as "too expensive" in one place and "not serious" in the other.
And paying debts
It is coming, and one rule will not change: Kayad Liya will never hold your customers' money. Settlement will go through an institution licensed by Bank Al-Maghrib that pays you directly. We keep the book up to date, nothing more.
